Gulf Oil Gusher spreading to florida EAST Coast - will kill tourism
This oil is about to spread its gooie sticky mess all the way around the pan handle of florida.... but what is worse than sticky oil on the bottom of your feet when you go to the beach is the toxic chemicals such as corexit passing through the skin into your body... or breathing in the sea midst that is laden with toxic chemicals that will kill fish and sea life. I guess you will continue to believe the media that all is well while they arrest reporters for trying to get a good look at what is REALLY going on. No wonder this country is collapsing. People are gullible star struck idiots. Hey btw did you see lindsey lohan crying? oh and the anticipation of lebron james picking a city to play basketball in.... oh well the toxic chemicals will poison the air but as long as he can jump and dunk a basket, I am good.

Oil spill hits heart of tourism in US Gulf states
The Fourth of July or Independence Day weekend in the United States usually draws thousands of tourists, holiday fishermen and their families to the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.
But this summer, the beaches in Louisiana are empty and an economy that relies heavily on tourism is choking.
Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports. (July 04, 2010)

Its Raining OIL in Louisiana
Oil Rain In Louisiana
From The Washington Post:The most disturbing of the worst-case scenarios, one that is unsubstantiated but is driving much of the blog discussion, is that the Deepwater Horizon well has been so badly damaged that it has spawned multiple leaks from the seafloor, making containment impossible and a long-term solution much more complicated.
Video from a robotic submersible, which is making the rounds online, shows something puffing from the seafloor. Some think it's oil. Or maybe -- look again -- it's just the silt blowing in response to the forward motion of the submersible.
More trouble: A tropical wave has formed in the Caribbean and could conceivably blow through the gulf.
"We're going to have to evacuate the gulf states," said Matt Simmons, founder of Simmons and Co., an oil investment firm and, since the April 20 blowout, the unflagging source of end-of-the-world predictions. "Can you imagine evacuating 20 million people? . . . This story is 80 times worse than I thought."

R.C. Hoagland - Oil spill Disaster and Hayabusa's Return
14 June 2010
C2C Science Advisor Richard C. Hoagland commented on such topics as the Japanese space probe Hayabusa's return, and the oil spill in the Gulf. He noted with interest that aboriginal elders had been brought to the site in Australia where Hayabusa's capsule (containing samples from an asteroid) had landed. Regarding the oil disaster, he warned that an even worse catastrophe could be looming if a giant gas bubble has formed at the site of the leak on the ocean floor.
