USAID wasting taxpayer money

USAID gets more than $40 million a year to expand on programs for regime change abroad. However, the US government doesn't control how or what that tax payer money has been used for. And the government doesn't even know what USAID is doing with it.

Reporters - In Algeria, the authorities are managing to keep a lid on social unrest for now, despite uprisings in neighboring countries. Yet strikes, sit-ins and attempted protest marches are organized regularly, with young people, who make up the majority of the population, taking center stage. Among their demands: jobs, housing, higher salaries and political reform.
