Bahrain Protesters Fired Upon

Bahraini security forces opened fire on anti-government protesters gathered in the capital, Manama, on Friday.
Hundreds of mourners were marching towards Pearl Roundabout when government forces fired live rounds and tear gas at them. The wounded were taken to the city's Salmaniya Hospital, where protesters have gathered to offer blood and support. On Friday evening, Bahrain's king asked his crown prince to begin a "national dialogue" with all parties over the continuing unrest in the country. Security forces opened fire Friday on Bahraini protesters for a second straight day, wounding at least 50 people as thousands marched in protest against the king.

Mideast Revolts: Iran s Turn?

On this edition of Peter Lavelle's CrossTalk: What are the recent Iranian protests all about? Is it fair to compare them to the Egyptian uprising? The Netherlands: disappointment for drug tourists

The new conservative government in the Netherlands has European support for its plan to restrict the country's famous marijuana-selling coffee shops to its citizens. In 2005, the city of Maastricht barred foreigners from its hash cafes. The owner of one of those cafes challenged that decision, arguing that it represented unequal treatment of EU citizens. The European Court of Justice has rejected his argument and says Dutch authorities have the right to tell coffeeshops not to sell marijuana to foreigners. In Amsterdam in particular, some people are concerned that tourism could suffer if foreigners can no longer come to get high.

Libya : deadly day of rage

Deadly attacks on peaceful protests - that is what eyewitnesses are reporting from all over Libya.
The country's "day of rage" has left at least 24 people dead, according to Human Rights Watch.
Despite media restrictions in Libya - reports of protests and violence have emerged on the internet.
Many amateur videos have also been uploaded, which cannot be independently verified.
Al Jazeera's Caroline Malone reports.
