Public Anger Rises in Europe; Strikes in 12 Countries

Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Julian Callow, chief European economist at Barclays Capital, talks about rising public anger over budget cuts across Europe. Unions fighting austerity measures plan protests in 12 countries today including Ireland, Italy and Portugal. Spanish workers held their first general strike in eight years, disrupting energy demand and transportation. Callow speaks with Maryam Nemazee on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown."
