June 01, 2010 — Worldwide condemnation rained down hours after Israeli Marine commandos stormed 6 ships in humanitarian aid flotilla in the Mediterranean Sea. At least 9 people were killed and dozens more wounded in the pre-dawn raid. The ships were reportedly carrying food and supplies -- some of which are considered as contraband in the Gaza Strip. The flotilla had been warned days earlier about trying to break through an Israel-imposed blockade on the Gaza Strip. But the alleged human rights workers charted their course and embarked on their endeavor anyway.
