Mexican anger at Arizona law

May 19, 2010A new law in Arizona targeting illegal immigrants has given police broad powers to stop anyone they suspect of being in the state illegally and detain them if they cannot prove their immigration status.

The introduction of the law has angered activists in Mexico say the law is discriminatory. In response they are trying to organize a boycott of Arizona.

Europe moves to save the Euro

May 21, 2010European finance ministers have backed measures for greater sanctions that would prevent Eurozone countries from running up too much debt.

The decision came after the officials met in Brussels, Belgium's capital, for discussions on saving the value of the Euro, which has fallen to six month lows.
