Goldman Sachs: Betting against itself ?
April 27, 2010 — Goldman Sachs has argued vehemently that it did not profit from the mortgage meltdown. But leaked emails show that the bank gained on the financial catastrophe of 2007-2008. Now, the company has inside sources that have come to light who are betting against Goldman Sachs, possibly turning a profit form its own failures. The Obama Administration can use this Goldman case as a Trojan horse for discovery both at Goldman and at other firms in order to plan a better financial reform bill.

Mexico president attacks Arizona immigration law
April 27, 2010 — Felipe Calderon, Mexico's president, has criticised Arizona's new immigration law by saying it could further breed "racial hatred and discrimination".
The law allows state authorities to question anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant.
Calderon said "Mexico's government will use everything in its power to defend the rights of Mexicans who are affected by this legislation."
