Eurozone GDPs Collapsing one after the other

Eurozone countries face weak GDPs for the last quarter of 2009 in the midst of an European Union summit agreement to help Greece out of its debt crisis

A strike by Greek civil servants Wednesday brought the debt-laden country to a halt. Government offices, schools and colleges were closed and there were only emergency services in hospitals. Flights across Greece were suspended as air traffic controllers joined the protest and rail services were disrupted.
European leaders promised solidarity to debt-stricken Greece on Thursday but held back from offering an immediate hard cash bailout. EU president Herman Van Rompuy, chairing his first European Union summit, announced a "deal" after two hours of intense negotiations in Brussels centred on German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou.

Man Smashes 29 TVs at WalMart before he gets arrested

olice have arrested a man for smashing 29 televisions at a Georgia Wal-mMrt. Authorities say the man grabbed a metal baseball bat from the sporting goods section before walking to the electronics aisle where he started swinging. (Feb. 11)


Toyota and Honda recalls are sign of economic warfare

Considered as the most reliable just recently, now Toyota and Honda have to call back their cars. Some say it's a weird fluke that all this happened after the Government took over American car makers. Wayne Madsen agrees and says that this is a big coincidence that Honda and Toyota have had major recalls in the past few weeks.
