President Lech Kaczynski and Many Polish Officials Killed in Plane Crash in Russia

Polish Lech President Kaczynski killed in plane crash



April 10, 2010 — 87 people killed in plane crash 10 APRIL 2010 at Moscow airport
The President of Poland, and his wife have died in a plane crashed in Western Russia. A this early stage, investigators say it's likely human error was the cause of the crash. Among officials onboard crashed plane were vice-speaker of Parliament, Army Chief-of-Staff, Deputy FM, Head of National Bank and others. Russian prosecutor General says plane went down after catching tree tops in fog.
Journalist Marcin Wojciechowski was in the President's pool of journalists which landed in Smolensk just an hour before the crash. He gave us his perspective on what happened.
