Its sad when pot smokers and growers go to prison longer then ALOT of convicted child sex-offenders.... Seriously... shouldn't the police and government be concerned with more issues then a plant... its a plant for christ sakes.

ReplyDeleteIn regards to drugs, the Right betrays their claims of wanting small government and individual rights in the name of so-called 'morality'; and the Left doesn't want to seem 'tough on crime' and doesn't want to tick off the Law Enforcement and Prison unions.
And both sides suck up to BIG Pharma and BIG Alcohol.
.
here's an absurd thought
- our Supreme God says
never use alcohol...
or any other drug..
which may influence your mind..
absurd thought -
God of the Universe says..
marijuana is evil..
especially to stop pain..
must use costly chemicals..
.
absurd thought -
God of the Universe says
disregard states' drug laws
the Federal Government
must protect the drug war
.
absurd thought -
God of the Universe says
never create more addicts
if it makes less criminals
and leads to less prisons
.
absurd thought -
God of the Universe says
outlaw all alcohol
make cigarettes illegal
organized crime takes over
.
Oops, I meant: The Left DOES want to seem 'tough on crime'. It does NOT want to appear 'soft on crime'.

Its crazy that people go to prison for this and anyone with the slightest common sense can see it. What anyone with sense should also be able to see is that the crimals in power seem to totally ignore alcohol and the devistation it causes (not to mention tobacco). Making too much money off it I suspect. Speaking as ex pot smoker (doesnt agree with me anymore) and a current social drinker I know what is less damaging to life - FROM EXPERIENCE!
ReplyDeleteThier is nothing wrong with marijuana. Have you ever heard once of somebody smokin a joint then goin out robbing and killing people. No. I smoke and I dont care who knows it. But I use it to relax and it also helps out with my depression alot. The thing with most drugs is that thiers really nothing wrong with em when you know what u are doin and are responsible abaout it. But most people are stupid and abuse everything. But the same can also be said about alcohaul. More violent crimes are commited by drunks than any other drug around. Yet u can go to just about any street and any corner and get it. The government fills jails with people that grow or sell or use marijuana and wonder why prisons are overcrowded. Now im not an advocate of every drug. Ive tried just about all of em and Heroin, Meth, and Crack are by far the stupidest and most dangerous drugs around and really need to disapear. But back to marijuana. Most people say its stupid and dangerous because the government says it is so they have never tried it. But if you turn on a tv and watch just about any channel long enough and they will mention or show somthin about it. Marijuana is the most popular and widely used drug thier is. And legalizing it is the only way that this country is going to get outta of this "economic crisis". Ill leave you with this. The internet, computer, and most of the technology we use everyday were invented or created by a "pot smoker". Think about that one!
ReplyDeleteLegalize marijuana and while we're at it, why not everything else -- NO VICTIM, NO CRIME!
ReplyDeleteSorry to plug, but I literally just got done with an article on a related subject:
