John Stossel against the Food Police
Libertarian John Stossel is against Mayor Bloomberg food regulations and policing , each and everyone have the right to eat whatever he wants when he wants , , yes the population needs to be educated but we should not impose any rules on the population ...in this case the salt , if we start regulating even the salt use where are we going to end up ?!?!

As a physician I think it is important to realize that aside from the blatant infringement on personal liberties and the ridiculous claim that all of us asked for socialized government health programs that the biggest problem with these food/health police is that all of these "positive" things merely reduce risk of one or another health conditions. Smoking reduces the risk of some health conditions and we're not talking about the financial burden imposed on "us" by people with those illnesses because they chose not to smoke. Leave risk assessment to adults and do hold them accountable for their own choices.
